February 20, 2020

On October 12th, 2010 China (Changsha) Science and Technology Fair Wangcheng Colored Special Event - Hunan Wangcheng Nonferrous Metals Deep Processing High-tech Industrialization Base and China Minmetals Hunan Nonferrous Metals High-tech Materials Industrial Park held a special promotion meeting at the Puri Hot Spring Hotel. At the meeting, the Provincial Science and Technology Department approved the establishment of a high-tech industrialization base for non-ferrous metal deep processing in Hunan Wangcheng Economic Development Zone. The initiative attracted a total of 9 non-ferrous metal industrialization projects including two projects of Central South University. At the same time, China Changsha Nonferrous Metals Intensive Processing Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was announced.
In recent years, Wangcheng has gathered non-ferrous metal deep processing industries represented by 21 non-ferrous metal enterprises such as China Minmetals Hunan Nonferrous Central Research Institute, Yutong Technology, Jinlong Copper, Aerospace Magneto, and AVIC Landing Gear. In 2009, the industrial output value reached 6.713 billion. yuan. At the end of 2009, China Minmetals Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, implemented a strategic restructuring of Hunan Nonferrous Holdings, which is to integrate the China Minmetals Hunan Nonferrous Metals Materials Industrial Park located in Wangcheng into the central aorta, which is expected to reach 2013. The total investment is 3 billion yuan, and the scale of post-production is 10 billion yuan.
In order to provide a strong backing for the newly established high-tech industrial base of non-ferrous metal deep processing in Wangcheng, our school and National Defense Science and Technology University, Huda, Hunan Nonferrous Metal Research Institute, China Minmetals Hunan Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, Yutong Technology, Jinlong Copper 22 research institutes, intermediary service agencies and enterprises such as Jinrui New Materials and Changsha Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Center formed a strategic alliance. The representative of the alliance said in the declaration that it will make full use of the advantages of the alliance, strengthen cooperation, integrate superior resources, and joint technological breakthroughs to promote marketization, industrialization, scale, standardization and informatization of the non-ferrous metals industry. Hunan Wangcheng non-ferrous metal deep processing high-tech industrialization base of the total rear. It is reported that the contracted investment amount of the nine non-ferrous metal deep processing industrialization projects signed on site is more than 700 million yuan, and the annual output value will reach more than 4 billion yuan. The two projects signed by Central South University are “ultra-fine tungsten-copper composite powder and alloy material” and “high-strength and high-precision wear-resistant copper contact net wire”.
According to the person in charge of the Wangcheng Development Zone, the establishment of the high-tech industrialization base for non-ferrous metal deep processing in Wangwang, Hunan is a concrete measure to implement the Central and Hunan Provincial Committee to revitalize the non-ferrous metal industry. The planned area of the base is about 10 square kilometers. By the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the total output value of the non-ferrous metal deep processing industry will reach 50 billion yuan, which will promote the integration of production, research and research in Hunan non-ferrous metals, and improve the independent innovation capability of the non-ferrous metal industry. Large and strong non-ferrous metals industry will promote Hunan to play a huge role in moving from a large non-ferrous metal province to a strong industrial province.
Academician Liu Yexiang, Vice President of Zhou Kechao and experts and professors in related disciplines were invited to attend the meeting.
